EHC is looking for a Bilingual Order Management Specialist for a Client in the Houston Area

Status: Full-Time

Start Date: 08/10/2026

Schedule

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day in office, 4 days remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Order Management Specialist to ensure accurate and timely order processing while delivering exceptional customer support. This role serves as a critical liaison between customers and internal teams, managing order inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with established policies and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Success in this position requires effective communication, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to identifying, troubleshooting, and escalating issues to provide a seamless customer experience and support efficient order fulfillment.

Key Qualifications

The hiring manager is seeking candidates with the following experience:

  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively move orders through the process
  • Accurate data entry and order entry experience
  • Ability to interact with international clients, particularly in Latin America and Mexico
  • Interest in learning and supporting international shipping processes

Job Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain customer purchase order data received through multiple order channels, including manual entry, EDI, eCommerce platforms, and automation tools.
  • Learn and manage increasingly complex order processing systems and procedures.
  • Resolve order exceptions and holds within established service level expectations to minimize delays and backlog.
  • Monitor and clear assigned order holds, including credit, pricing, inventory, and compliance issues, to support on-time order fulfillment.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information using established tools, procedures, and team standards.
  • Maintain all order-related records in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.
  • Identify and assess customer needs to deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Respond promptly and thoroughly to customer and sales inquiries while meeting response-time expectations.
  • Follow established communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service and support.

Required Skills & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with detailed alphanumeric data entry
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to support customers professionally via phone, email, chat, and in person

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues within an ERP environment
