Custom Filters Direct is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing operations during an exciting period of growth.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing professional who thrives on improving operations, developing people, and driving measurable results. You'll play a critical role in optimizing plant performance by improving labor efficiency, strengthening leadership across the production floor, and ensuring daily operational excellence.
What You'll Do
As our Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and improving all aspects of day-to-day manufacturing operations, including:
  • Oversee daily plant operations across Production, Maintenance, Quality, Scheduling, Shipping, and Staffing
  • Develop supervisors and production leaders while building a culture of accountability
  • Improve labor efficiency, production output, and overall operational performance
  • Establish and monitor daily production goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Reduce downtime, scrap, overtime, bottlenecks, and waste
  • Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Improve communication and accountability between departments
  • Partner with HR on staffing, employee development, and performance management
  • Work closely with Maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime
  • Lead operational improvements that support the company's continued growth

  • Experience with production scheduling, staffing, and KPI management
  • Hands-on leadership style with a strong presence on the manufacturing floor
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field (or equivalent leadership experience)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or Director-level manufacturing leadership experience
  • Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience
  • Experience with ERP, MES, Redzone, or manufacturing performance systems
