Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a crew of carpenters, concrete finishers / masons and labourers
  • Interface with the client and other contractors on site
  • Ensure site safety by maintaining a hazard-free environment and enforcing compliance with Ledcor's health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Coordinate work activities with the client, contractors, and other forepersons to ensure smooth project execution
  • Plan and manage resources, equipment, and labour to keep operations efficient
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately
  • Monitor project schedules to ensure work is completed within regular hours and meets deadlines
  • Resolve on-site challenges and proactively manage work sequencing

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial construction environment preferred
  • Journeyperson Carpenter
  • Strong carpentry and concrete formwork background with knowledge of industrial construction and related trades
  • Valid driver's license and clean abstract required

Work Conditions:

  • Work schedule: 10 days on, and 4 days off plus statutory holidays off
  • Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
  • Location - Fort Saskatchewan AB
  • Weekly payment of wages

  • No camp or travel allowances provided. Would suit candidates residing in the Greater Edmonton region
