This position is open to applicants or individuals who are located in or around Longview,Tx and able to work 1st shift schedule with flexibility for longer hours based off of business and peak needs.
The Role:
The Operations Manager oversees daily operations of a fulfillment center, ensuring service to multiple clients (DTC and/or B2B). This leader manages multiple shifts, associates, and ensures all inbound, outbound, inventory, and value-added services meet KPIs.
What You'll Do:
  • Support site-level P&L and ensure financial targets are met through effective labor planning, scheduling, and productivity management.

  • Lead and support supervisors across multiple shifts to meet performance metrics including accuracy, units per hour (UPH), and service levels.

  • Direct inbound, outbound, and inventory operations to ensure seamless flow and service delivery.

  • Partner with clients to maintain high standards of operational performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate records of working hours and departmental performance, including cost per piece and accuracy tracking.

  • Continuously review operations, recommend improvements, and implement approved changes to drive efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Guide shift operations, flex resources as needed, and ensure staffing levels align with budget and departmental needs.

  • Manage all aspects of staff supervision including interviewing, training, performance management, and policy administration.

  • Foster a collaborative and communicative work environment with clear metrics, consistent policies, and a focus on safety and service.

  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment, reporting all incidents and injuries promptly.

  • Support ongoing development of resources and processes to improve distribution center operations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
  • Hands-on operator with strong people leadership.

  • Excellent communicator and problem solver.

  • Motivated by results, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

What You've Done:
  • 5+ years in warehouse/distribution operations.

  • 3+ years managing supervisors/managers.

  • 3PL or fulfillment experience

  • Experience with WMS, OMS, and data-driven management.

Physical Work Environment:
  • Ability to work weekend 1st shift schedule

  • Able to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.).

  • Able to lift and carry up to 25-30 lbs. on occasion (document boxes, files, binders, and other items)

  • Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time

  • Able to work overtime including extended schedules during peak seasons.
