Job description

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our shop. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong management skills, a proven track record in a similar role, and a passion for driving efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality. Pay range: $50,000-$80,000 yearly.
Key Objectives:
  • Drive Operational Efficiency and Profitability
  • Develop and Align a High-Performing Service Team
  • Deliver a Safe, Consistent, and High-Quality Customer Experience

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all shop staff including but not limited to service technicians, lot porters, and admins
  • Understand individual contributors productivity, efficiency, and capabilities
  • Attend and engage in weekly service-related meetings to ensure the team is on track to hit goals
  • Assign repair orders based on technician skill set
  • Ensure efficiency and productivity goals are tracking on an individual and team basis
  • Manage customer experience as needed
  • Manage and monitor P & L, identifying revenue and labor hours opportunities
  • Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams within the dealership
  • Assist employees with tools they need to be successful in their roles
  • Assist service manager as needed to ensure department alignment on daily goals
  • Attend and engage in weekly service-related meetings to ensure the team is on track to hit goals
  • Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations within shop and maintain safety protocols to create a secure working environment

  • Proven experience in operations management within the manufacturing industry, with a preference for RV or automotive manufacturing
  • Technical knowledge of RV's is a plus
  • Experience driving a forklift is a plus
