Landscape Construction Foreman
Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to lead and work alongside crews of 4-8 employees on complex landscape construction projects. This working foreman role requires expertise in all phases of landscape construction, from site preparation to final installation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of landscape construction: demolition, site prep, grading, planting, installation
  • Operate heavy equipment: skid steer, mini-excavator, tracked loader, chop saws
  • Read landscape plans, shoot grades with transit, and lay out job sites
  • Manage crew productivity, scheduling, and safety protocols
  • Interface with customers, subcontractors, architects, and suppliers
  • Process change orders, job paperwork, and cost reports
  • Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor phases
  • Train crew members and maintain high team morale
  • Use Aspire software for daily project management tasks

Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Valid driver's license with clean record
  • 3+ years landscape construction experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) - oral and written
  • Certified Landscape Technician (CLT)
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Clean background check and employment eligibility documentation

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with construction equipment operation and maintenance
  • Ability to read landscape plans and architectural drawings
