Registered Nurse (RN) Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) is needed in Panama City, FL.

  • Salary range: $27.72-$39.60 15+ years depending on experience. If you have CNA, LPN, Surg Tech, or Paramedic experience it will count towards your RN experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care from minor injuries to critically ill patients.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team for excellent patient care.
  • Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages.
  • Develop and manage individualized patient care plans.
  • Prioritize multiple cases, ensuring patient needs are met.
  • Offer follow-up care instructions and referrals.
  • Coordinate with physicians and hospital departments.
  • Focus on patient-centered care and safety awareness.

Requirements

  • A current FL RN license or appropriate compact licensure is required. If a compact license is held, an active FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire.
  • 3+ years of recent (Within the last year) Acute Care ER RN experience.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting (within the last year) RN experience
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
