As a Coordinator of Support Services in adult services, you will utilize your empathic and passionate nature to oversee staff who care for people supported and work together with an incredible team to tend to the immediate behavioral needs of individuals. You will be challenged by the dynamic environment, where you will work as a pivotal manager of staff, to exceed company goals and foster teamwork. If you want to play an integral role in providing training, showing support, and helping to care about our people, then come work for us!
Staff who would directly report to you, include Lead Direct Support Professionals and Direct Support Professionals.
Some of the job responsibilities associated with this opportunity include but are not limited to:
  • Participates in the planning and execution of agency and department goals and Basic Assurances
  • Completes and/or ensures completion of all documentation, including baselines, checklists, seizure logs, etc.
  • Assists in obtaining and entering quality assurance data Supervise day-to-day activities within the Residential area
  • Oversees and monitors area programs and provide continuous feedback to appropriate personnel
  • Ensures all persons served are engaged in meaningful activities throughout the day
  • Coordinates workflow
  • Ensures safety and security of people served, staff, buildings and vehicles are maintained
  • Ensures people supported are provided skill training in independent living
  • Works closely with Case Managers, Program Coordinators, and/or Medical Services staff to ensure quality of care to individuals supported
  • Rotates the weekend on-call responsibility with the other CSSs Supervise and coach direct reports
  • Assists in interviewing/hiring for open and new positions
  • Trains staff and ensures new staff complete all necessary orientation
  • Monitors and evaluates performance
  • Monitors and staffs work schedules
  • Other duties as otherwise assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience
  • A high school diploma/GED is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in human services or related field is preferred.
  • Two or more year of supervision experience preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in Direct Care or related field required, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
    All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.
