Position Overview
We are seeking a Software Development and Integration Engineer to support the development, integration, and deployment of software solutions for advanced communications, aerospace, defense, and mission-critical technology programs. In this role, you will work closely with systems engineers, software developers, and customers to integrate software components into cohesive, high-performance systems that meet operational and technical requirements.
The ideal candidate has experience with software integration, automation, DevOps practices, and software-hardware integration. This individual will play a key role in developing integration strategies, maintaining build and deployment environments, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and supporting system-level testing and verification activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers, systems engineers, and software development teams to define software requirements, architecture concepts, integration strategies, and test plans.
  • Perform integration of software components, firmware, embedded applications, and third-party libraries into operational systems.
  • Develop and maintain software integration plans, procedures, and automated deployment processes.
  • Design and implement automation scripts to improve build, testing, deployment, and release workflows.
  • Define and maintain software interfaces, integration dependencies, and configuration requirements.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain software development and integration environments, including source control repositories, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software integration issues through root cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support software verification, validation, and system-level testing activities.
  • Maintain software build documentation, release records, and configuration management artifacts to ensure traceability and repeatability.

Qualifications
Education
