Job description

Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and maintain a productive client portfolio within the Pathology segment, identifying new business opportunities and strengthening customer relationships within the assigned territory.
  • Promote, present, demonstrate, and sell specialized products, equipment, and solutions while providing technical and commercial guidance tailored to customer needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, applications support, technical training, and post-installation follow-up visits to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementation.
  • Prepare quotations, sales reports, forecasts, and customer activity updates while maintaining accurate records and pipeline management through Salesforce and internal systems.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments including Customer Service, Technical Services, Credit & Collections, and Applications Specialists to support sales strategies and client requirements.
  • Participate in market analysis, professional events, conventions, and training activities to remain current with industry trends, support business growth, and achieve assigned sales targets and quotas.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of sales experience and/or three (3) years of experience as a Histotechnologist.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish, with strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • Proven ability to build professional relationships, negotiate effectively, identify customer needs, and provide high-level customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required; availability to travel within and outside Puerto Rico and to work flexible schedules, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
