Job description

Overview
Kimedics, LLC is one of LocumTenens.com families of companies. Kimedics is building workforce solutions for healthcare staffing to help operations teams and clinicians spend less time on administrative tasks and more time on patient care. With the growing clinician shortage, medical groups have to rely on collaboration with their clinician networks and staffing partner organizations to fill their schedule efficiently - and without the right tool this can get incredibly complicated and expensive fast. We help them organize and optimize their practice staffing and scheduling operations! We have built a full-stack end-to-end solution consisting of roster management, credentialing and document task templates, scheduling apps, pay calculation automation and analytics dashboards that empower healthcare organizations to optimize their schedule and rosters for the best fit and cost optimized schedule.

The VP of Product translates market opportunity, enterprise customer insight, and competitive positioning into a disciplined, prioritized roadmap that drives new customer acquisition, expansion revenue, and retention across a complex multi-stakeholder customer base that includes large health systems, physician organizations, and managed services partners. This leader will lead and further develop the product management organization, including overseeing product management processes, ensuring product design accountability, and developing the team's AI-assisted delivery capabilities while partnering closely with Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and executive leadership.

  • Own product pricing and packaging strategy in partnership with Sales and Finance to support ARR growth and expansion revenue
  • Establish and report on key product metrics (adoption, retention, NPS, feature usage) to measure product-market fit and inform prioritization
  • Champion and defend Kimedics' vendor-neutral, agency-agnostic positioning in all product strategy and customer-facing conversations; ensure that platform decisions reinforce rather than compromise this core market differentiator
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, including VMS incumbents, scheduling platforms, credentialing vendors, and emerging workforce operations technology and translate competitive intelligence into product strategy adjustments
  • Drive product transformation initiatives that create competitive differentiation and accelerate market growth

Team Leadership & Organizational Development - 30%

  • Mentor and develop product managers and associates to grow their capabilities in user story definition, product discovery, data-driven prioritization, and customer engagement
