Hotel and Park Director of Operations

Position Summary

One Source Housekeeping Solutions is seeking an experienced Hotel and Park Director of Operations to lead hospitality and park operations throughout the San Diego metro area. This senior leadership role is responsible for the overall performance of assigned hotel and park operations, with a strong focus on service quality, labor management, client relationships, employee leadership, safety, and financial performance.

The Director of Operations will oversee multiple operational teams and leaders, ensuring consistent execution of company standards while building strong partnerships with client leadership. This position requires a highly visible, hands-on leader who can successfully manage a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall operational leadership for assigned hotel and park operations throughout the San Diego metro area.

  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable site-level managers, supervisors, and operational teams.

  • Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation, guest experience, and service delivery.

  • Maintain strong relationships with hotel, park, and client leadership and serve as the primary point of contact for operational performance.

  • Monitor staffing levels, productivity, labor utilization, scheduling, and operational efficiency across all assigned locations.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and operational leadership to maintain appropriate staffing levels and proactively address workforce needs.

  • Manage operational budgets, labor costs, supplies, and other controllable expenses while maintaining service standards.

  • Review operational and financial performance and implement corrective action when results fall below expectations.

  • Conduct regular property and park inspections to evaluate quality, safety, staffing, and compliance.

  • Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching, development, and accountability for leadership teams.

  • Support new account transitions, operational changes, and special projects as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, safety procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements.

  • Ensure proper documentation, training, onboarding, and operational procedures are consistently followed.

  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, service delivery, employee retention, and client satisfaction.

  • Respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges, client concerns, staffing issues, and changing business needs.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive operations leadership experience within hospitality, hotel housekeeping, resort operations, theme park operations, facilities services, or a related high-volume service environment.

  • Multi-site or large-scale operational leadership experience strongly preferred.

  • Proven experience leading managers and large frontline teams.

  • Strong understanding of labor management, scheduling, productivity, budgeting, and operational performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, accountability, and guest service.

  • Ability to travel regularly between assigned locations throughout the San Diego metro area.

  • Flexibility to support operations during weekends, holidays, and non-traditional hours when business needs require.
