Job description

Job Summary

The VRS Marketing Manager is responsible for executing and optimizing VRS marketing initiatives that support customer adoption, engagement, retention, and product education. This role partners closely with the VRS Marketing Director, Social Media Manager, Creative Team, Product, and Analytics teams to translate business priorities into actionable campaigns, content, customer journeys, and performance insights. The role serves as a key operational contributor, helping ensure marketing initiatives are executed effectively, performance is measured, and opportunities for optimization are identified.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze campaign, customer journey, channel performance, and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and optimization strategies that improve engagement, brand preference, adoption, retention, and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance reviews that measure progress against marketing goals and KPIs.
  • Coordinate and execute integrated VRS marketing campaigns aligned with annual business and marketing priorities.
  • Develop and execute testing and optimization strategies across campaigns, messaging, customer journeys, and channels to improve engagement, adoption, retention, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Partner with Social Media, Creative, Product, and community stakeholders to develop authentic storytelling and customer-focused content that reinforces Sorenson's brand values, innovation leadership, and commitment to the Deaf community.
  • Collaborate with Product, Social Media, Creative, Customer Care, Compliance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives and are delivered on time.
  • Other duties as assigned

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education

Minimum:

  • 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree

 

Experience

Minimum Years of Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in marketing or related business experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Fluency in ASL highly preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret customer, campaign, and web analytics data to drive marketing decisions.
  • Expertise in digital marketing strategies, best practices, and testing methodologies, with the ability to evaluate multiple variables and optimize campaign performance.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, such as Jira, for managing marketing workflows.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach.
  • Creative thinking with an analytical mindset.
  • Professional attitude and team player able to work across company departments.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, tools, and to handle other computer components.
  • Regular and predictable attendance required.
