Job Summary

At Diverzify+ and our Family of Brands, our Director of Operations is responsible for implementing the right processes and practices across the organization by improving performance, procuring material and resources, and securing compliance. This position will mentor team members, find ways to increase the quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. Ultimately, we’ll trust you to help us remain efficient and profitable during the course of business.

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts, purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency.
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives, to perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
  • Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.
  • Train and supervise staff.
  • Find ways to increase the quality of customer service.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years proven work experience as Director of Operations or similar role.
  • 7+ years proven work experience in Flooring Installation/Flooring Project Management.
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
