At Early Learning Indiana, we are on a mission to ensure that children are empowered with the essential skills to thrive in kindergarten and beyond

Positions are available at our Day Early Learning at Patty Jischke center.

Our Assistant Teachers/Child Care Assistants (internally known as Classroom Support Professionals) support our mission by collaborating with teachers in implementing lessons designed to stimulate developmental growth and fostering a welcoming environment so children can thrive.

What will I do?

  • Encourage children by preparing and managing an engaging environment that fosters their independence and self-selection of learning activities.
  • Work cooperatively with the teachers to implement our play based curriculum.
  • Establish warm and responsive relationships that allow each child to feel recognized, acknowledged and secure.
  • Maintain a healthy, safe and clean environment for children and team members.
  • Develop trusted relationships with families by communicating on a regular and ongoing basis to relay information about each child's day.
  • Support the teacher in noticing and documenting child development observations.
  • Ensure all state licensing rules and regulations are adhered to, including those for NAEYC accreditation, Paths to QUALITY, CACFP and Indiana child care center licensing.
