POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Information Technology provides visionary leadership for the district's IT Department, supporting all technology groups and ensuring the effective integration of digital solutions across instructional, operational, and administrative domains. This role champions innovation, equity, and collaboration, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and responsive service for schools, departments, and community stakeholders. The Director partners with district leadership to advance strategic initiatives, drive digital transformation, and ensure technology aligns with the district's educational mission and global best practices. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Information Technology.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Master's degree is preferred in information technology, computer science, educational leadership, or a combination in related field required.
Relevant Certifications:
Administrator Certification, Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL), ITIL Foundation, CompTIA, Microsoft, or equivalent global certifications preferred.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 7 years of progressive leadership experience in information technology, with demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in K-12 educational environments. Experience in global or multi-site organizations is highly valued.
