Job description

Job Purpose or Goals

Full Time| Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM| 80/20- Onsite/Remote. 

The IT Senior Director of Service Delivery provides recommendations regarding the company's technical strategic direction, future growth and vision. This position is responsible for the management of the customer experience with IT and should be focused on increasing the strategic and operational effectiveness of service management processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and speed of IT services delivered. 

Tasks:
  1. Accountable for ensuring multiple departments execute a comprehensive resource management plan that includes protecting time and labor cost accountability for project and service work. Validate and demonstrate effective resource management to IT Executive Leadership.
  2. Responsible for managing the financial health (budget ownership) and physical resources that are being utilized by your departments. Ensure accountability inside your departments for fiscal discipline and positive resource management practices.
  3. Foster an environment for leadership growth and development. Focus on outcomes for team and individual development and growth that support IT strategy. Establish a clear vision, manage expectations and lead by example.
  4. Promote relationship growth within your department, IT, the Division and all of CNO. Develop and maintaining positive relationships inside and outside of the Choctaw Nation.
  5. Leads the development of the IT service strategy and technical roadmap and ensures its integration with the overall IT and enterprise strategic plans.
  6. Acts as a trusted advisor and builds and maintains relationships with other IT leaders and business executives to develop a clear understanding of business needs. Ensures cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs and can respond with the agility required to address changing business priorities.
  7. Leverages influencing and negotiation skills across IT and the enterprise to enable cost-effective and innovative shared solutions in the achievement of business goals.
  8. Research and recommend new products, identify new market opportunities and leading efforts to improve IT processes.
  9. Accountable for the management of IT department operational objectives, including business requirements, project planning, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.  Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities for assigned programs. 
  10. Other duties as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in organizational communication, group process facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution and technological management tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of associates and management levels in a diverse community
  • Credibility and character to manage a diverse team in a multiple location environment
  • Ability to build ROI and economic projections to reduce IT expenses, maximum IT outlays and capital expenditures
  • 13 years of progressive IT management experience
 BS or BBA degree in Computer Science (Programming) or Management Information SystemsProficient in organizational communication, group process facilitation, conflict resolution and technological management toolsCredibility and character to manage a diverse team in a multiple location environment.Build Return and economic projections to reduce IT expenses, maximum IT outlays and capital expenditures.13 years of progressive IT management experience1. You will lead the development of the IT service strategy and technical roadmap and ensures its integration with the IT andenterprise strategic plans.2. Be a trusted advisor and build relationships with other IT leaders and business executives to develop a clear understandingof needs. Ensure cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs.3. Use across IT and the enterprise to allow cost-effective and better shared solutions in goals.4. Perform trend analyses and develop action plans for improving service and reducing costs.5. You will research and recommend new products, identify new market opportunities and leading efforts to improve IT processes.6. Manage IT department operational goals, including requirements, project organizing and the allocation of resources. Help develop and implement goals, policies and priorities for assigned programs.7. Develop the information technology expense budget to contribute to a cost-effective operation. Implement methods fordemonstrating "show back" or "charge back" metrics for supported organizations.8. Build a functional and efficient IT team to achieve agreed to goals. Review the performance of the important team managers within the departments. Perform salary administration activities.9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
