Job description

Job Description Position Summary: The Associate Director of Graduate Admissions and Enrollment is responsible for leading and executing admissions and enrollment management for the College of Law's LL.M., M.J., and other non-J.D. graduate programs. The position works collaboratively with the Director of International and Graduate Programs to support recruitment, enrollment, and related program initiatives for the LL.M

in International Law Program as needed. For all other LL.M., M.J., and other non-J.D. programs, the Associate Director oversees recruitment, application processing, admission decisions, and enrollment tracking-ensuring that the College meets its graduate enrollment targets

The role works collaboratively with program directors, the marketing and communications team, the International Office, and Student Financial Planning to attract, admit, and onboard diverse and highly qualified students. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Employment duties include the following: Lead recruitment, admissions, and enrollment management for LL.M., M.J., and other non-J.D. graduate programs

Collaborate with program directors and the Senior Assistant Dean of Enrollment to establish and implement enrollment targets and strategies. Manage and oversee the full application process, including reviewing and evaluating applications, assigning applicant files to program directors for review, making scholarship recommendations, confirming enrollment decisions, notifying applicants of decisions and providing new student information to admitted students. Serve as a recruiter for domestic and international prospective students.

Counsel prospective students regarding admissions processes, program options, and enrollment requirements. Run enrollment tracking reports using student information systems (Unite and Banner). Collaborate with program directors to coordinate onboarding and support newly admitted students.

Coordinate with various departments and units including IT, Registrar, Library, etc. to ensure timely and efficient enrolled student process. Collaborate with program directors and communications director/project manager on marketing strategies.

Provide guidance as needed to communications director/project manager and external marketing agencies related to targeted print, digital, email, and social media campaigns. Assist in managing program webpages in collaboration with program directors and communications team. Assist in editing and updating HubSpot content as needed.

Organize and implement admissions programming including webinars and information sessions to target prospective students and generate program interest. Provide support for JD file review and counseling as requested by the Senior Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management. Maintain compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in recruitment and admissions Maintain a collaborative work environment and work well with others.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The knowledge, skills, and abilities for this role include: Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, admissions processes, and CRM/student information systems.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including program directors, and marketing teams. Support the University's Mission and Values in their role.

Required Qualifications: This position requires: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Experience in graduate admissions, enrollment management, or higher education administration. Experience working with international student recruitment is highly desirable.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.

Ability to collaborate with others within the law school and university community. Demonstrated ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, Banner, Unite, HubSpot or similar CRM.

Work Environment: This is an in-person position at our Gulfport campus. Work duties will be performed primarily in temperature-controlled offices, with frequent interactions with others. This position may include opportunities for a Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA).

Work authorization sponsorship may be available for this position. However, sponsorship is contingent upon the non-applicability of the visa petition fees outlined in the relevant Executive Order signed September 19, 2025. Due to the recent federally-mandated increased financial expense, the university is not in a position to absorb this significantly increased cost of sponsorship for new H-1B petitions at this time.
