SUMMARY
The Event Attendant plays a key role in ensuring the success of events by providing support in various capacities, including setup, guest assistance, traffic control, and food service coordination. This position requires a highly adaptable individual who can handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, proactive, and able to contribute to the smooth execution of events of all sizes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, signage, and equipment.
  • Greet and direct guests, providing excellent customer service and answering event-related questions.
  • Support vendors, exhibitors, and event organizers with logistical needs.
  • Monitor event spaces to ensure cleanliness, organization, and smooth operations.
  • Assist with traffic control and parking management, ensuring smooth vehicle flow and guest safety.
  • Help with crowd control, ticketing, and access management as needed.
  • Support food service operations, including setting up food stations, assisting with catering needs, and ensuring food areas remain stocked and clean.
  • Provide technical and operational support (e.g., A/V setup, microphone handling, stage assistance).
  • Address guest concerns and escalate any issues to the Event Coordinator or Manager.
  • Support promotional activities such as distributing event materials or assisting with marketing activations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and event policies, responding quickly to any incidents or emergencies.

JOB-RELATED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
