Description

Essential Job Functions

Operations Management (50%)

  • Ensure warehouse staff adheres to production and fulfillment schedules to meet retail and e-commerce demands with speed and accuracy.
  • Coordinate daily workflow and shift priorities with supervisors to optimize productivity, minimize delays, and maintain inventory integrity.
  • Forecast labor needs based on sales volume, promotional events, and seasonal retail fluctuations to maintain cost-effective staffing.
  • Oversee space utilization, inventory flow, and layout optimization to support timely store replenishments and visual merchandising readiness.
  • Monitor and request necessary equipment, materials, and supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations and order processing.
  • Oversee routine maintenance and safety checks for all warehouse equipment, ensuring compliance and minimizing downtime.
  • Support logistics by managing the safe transport of goods using forklifts and pallet jacks, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Compliance and Recordkeeping

  • Ensure adherence to all safety, sanitation, and compliance protocols set by company policy and regulatory bodies.
  • Verify inbound and outbound shipments match system records and escalate discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory logs using handheld scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and manual processes as required.

Team Leadership and Culture Building

Store Support and Customer-Focused Operations (20%)

  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including order accuracy, fulfillment timelines, and shrink reduction.
  • Anticipate and respond to retail store needs and escalations to ensure consistent in-store execution and customer satisfaction.
