Manager, Org Development & Learning, is responsible for developing and delivering compelling learning offerings aligned with the skills and competencies needed to drive the broader organizational strategy.

  • Design training offerings and development programs in partnership with functional Subject Matter Experts and key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate and lead live training and development sessions.
  • Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of learning initiatives.
  • Create consistency across all learning and development content to ensure a best-in-class experience for the learner.
  • Use creativity in design thinking to recommend a training strategy adaptable to all learning styles.
  • Design and deliver learning in multiple formats with an emphasis on the user experience.
  • Leverage technology to reduce turnaround time with design and knowledge transfer.
  • Utilize current learning trends when recommending a training program.
  • Create communication strategies to market new training or updates to our associates.
  • Understand succession planning and connecting capabilities to development.
  • Work cross-functionally as assigned to create content and maintain the voice of enterprise training.
  • Strong ability to understand business situations and translate them into learning solutions that drive growth and impact.

Process

  • Evaluates the quality and effectiveness of training programs, identifies training needs and gaps in the organization, and works in close collaboration with key stakeholders to create, update, and improve training plans, programs, and supplemental documentation.
  • Gathers content, writes, and updates training documentation, including guides, PowerPoint presentations, visual aids, system tutorials/demonstrations, handouts, and other supporting materials, in alignment with operational and corporate strategy.
  • Works to understand unfamiliar or complex information or ideas and convert them into simple language, adjusting style to meet end-user needs.
  • Ensures meetings are productive by proactively soliciting cross-functional content, organizing agendas and supporting materials, communicating concise notes, and following up on action items.

THE ESSENTIALS OF SUCCESS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional systems design, education, organizational development, business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate learning strategy, organizational development, talent management, or instructional design.
  • Can demonstrate success by applying a systematic approach to enhance user experience.
  • Ability to connect talent programs and processes to see opportunities for synergy. 
  • Experience designing and developing self-paced eLearning courses, translating complex concepts into clear, skill-based, and engaging digital content.
  • Experience in editing and refining multimedia elements, including video, graphics, photos, and audio, to enhance engagement and overall quality for training courses and documentation.
  • The following experience would be a plus: Retail, succession planning, talent management, learning ecosystems, assessments, Mobile learning design, pull-based learning design, adaptive learning, using artificial intelligence (AI) in training, and applying data science (xAPI).

The pay range for this position is $88,200.00 - $115,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
