Job description

Help Shape the Future of AI-Powered Commercial Real Estate Marketing

Friedman Real Estate is seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and hands-on Manager of Digital Marketing to lead our digital growth strategy and help position our company at the forefront of modern marketing.

This is a unique opportunity for a digitally savvy marketer who understands not only SEO, content marketing, social media, paid media, inbound marketing, and demand generation—but also how AI is transforming the way businesses are discovered, evaluated, nurtured, and selected.

We’re looking for someone who can build strategy and execute. The ideal candidate will be capable of creating compelling content, scaling marketing output through AI-enabled workflows, improving digital visibility, driving qualified lead generation, nurturing prospects through the funnel, and supporting measurable revenue growth across multiple business lines.

This role will work closely with Friedman’s leadership, marketing team, and new business development professionals to create campaigns, content, and digital strategies that help generate awareness, engagement, qualified opportunities, and business growth.

This position offers hybrid flexibility, but requires the ability to work at our Corporate Headquarters. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Farmington Hills, MI.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive measurable growth, brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation

Creating and managing compelling content that resonates with key commercial real estate audiences, including:

  • Commercial and multifamily property owners
  • Investors
  • Asset managers
  • Lenders
  • Corporate occupiers
  • Brokers
  • Property and facility management decision-makers
  • Developers and institutional real estate stakeholders

Partnering closely with the new business development team to support revenue growth across Friedman’s service lines through targeted campaigns, lead generation strategies, sales-support content, and inbound marketing initiatives

Developing and executing inbound marketing strategies designed to attract, engage, nurture, and convert qualified prospects

Managing paid media initiatives, including paid search, paid social, retargeting, sponsored content, and other performance-driven digital advertising campaigns

Building and optimizing demand generation campaigns that support awareness, lead capture, prospect education, and pipeline development

Creating lead nurturing strategies using email marketing, CRM workflows, marketing automation, audience segmentation, and performance analytics

Managing and growing Friedman’s presence across key digital channels, including:

  • LinkedIn
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • YouTube
  • Email marketing
  • Search platforms
  • Paid media channels
  • Other relevant and emerging digital platforms

Driving SEO and content marketing initiatives that improve search visibility, website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates

Optimizing Friedman’s digital presence for:

  • Traditional search engines
  • AI-powered search and answer platforms
  • Agentic and generative discovery environments, including:
    • Microsoft Copilot
    • ChatGPT
    • Gemini
    • Claude
    • Perplexity
    • Future AI discovery platforms

Leveraging AI-enabled marketing tools to improve productivity, scalability, personalization, content development, campaign optimization, reporting, and overall marketing performance

Using AI to accelerate content creation while applying strong strategic judgment, editorial review, brand alignment, and quality control to ensure AI-assisted content is accurate, relevant, differentiated, and valuable

Supporting revenue growth across Friedman’s core business lines, including:

  • Commercial Brokerage
  • Commercial Property Management
  • Construction & Design
  • Facilities Management
  • Multifamily Management
  • Receivership & Special Assets
  • Investment Sales
  • Commercial Lending

Managing marketing analytics, campaign performance, website reporting, lead attribution, conversion tracking, and marketing technology platforms

Creating digital content and campaigns that support brand awareness, thought leadership, recruiting, client engagement, prospect education, and business development

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of progressive digital marketing experience
  • Strong B2B marketing background, preferably in a professional services, real estate, construction, CRE, facilities, finance, or related industry
  • Proven success with SEO, content marketing, social media, paid media, inbound marketing, demand generation, and lead generation
  • Experience developing and executing campaigns—not just managing vendors
  • Strong writing, editing, content development, and storytelling skills
  • Ability to translate complex services into clear, compelling, client-focused messaging
  • Experience with paid search, paid social, retargeting, email marketing, marketing automation, CRM systems, and performance reporting
  • Strong understanding of how to build campaigns that move prospects through the buyer journey—from awareness to consideration to conversion
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance insights into action
  • Comfort working closely with sales, business development, leadership, and service-line teams
  • Deep curiosity and passion for emerging AI technologies and their application in modern marketing
  • Ability to use AI tools effectively while maintaining strong human judgment, creativity, brand discipline, and editorial oversight

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly preferred:

  • Multifamily management
  • Construction
  • Architecture/Engineering
  • Facilities management
  • Professional services
  • Financial services or commercial lending
  • B2B services marketing

The Ideal Candidate

You are equal parts strategist, creator, analyst, and operator.

You understand that marketing today is no longer just about ranking on Google or posting on social media. You understand how audiences research, compare, and select service providers across search engines, social platforms, email, paid media, websites, AI-powered tools, and referral-driven networks.

You are comfortable moving between the creative and technical sides of marketing. You can develop strong messaging, shape compelling content, edit with judgment, and tell a clear story—but you also understand SEO, analytics, campaign performance, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and conversion optimization.

You know how to use AI as a force multiplier. You can leverage AI tools to scale content creation, improve efficiency, personalize campaigns, identify opportunities, analyze performance, and accelerate execution—while still applying the human judgment needed to ensure the final product is accurate, strategic, polished, and aligned with the Friedman brand.

You are excited by technology, motivated by measurable business impact, and energized by the opportunity to help a leading commercial real estate organization modernize and scale its marketing function.
