About the Position: Shift Leader serves at the one of the two Military Ocean Terminals (MOT). Position is located in Concord, CA with the 834th U.S. Army Transportation Command.Qualifications:

Specialized Experiences: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in working in a Federal, State, municipal, local or private organization that involves the protection of property against such hazards as fire, theft, damage, accident, or trespass; maintaining order; protecting life; writing and reviewing incident reports; responding to emergency situations and security breaches; and controlling access to highly restricted areas with critical resources/assets of National Security importance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone -- no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
