Position Summary: The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities through proactive outreach, lead generation, and strategic marketing collaboration.  A key component of this role includes attending 24 trade shows annually to engage with potential clients, assess industry trends, and generate new business opportunities.  Additionally, this role works closely with the Marketing team to develop and execute business strategies that align with PG Exhibit’s initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans in collaboration with the Marketing team to maximize lead generation and client engagement. 
  • Proactively identify and engage with prospective clients through calls, emails, and industry networking, promoting PG Exhibit’s products, services, and value proposition. 
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the trade show industry, market trends, and competitors to identify opportunities beyond traditional trade show exhibits, such as corporate events, showrooms, roadshows, and retail spaces.
  • Promotes the company in a professional manner, highlighting our full-service capabilities and service-oriented market niche.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with potential clients through consistent follow-up and engagement. 
  • Updates CRM system according to activity associated with business development.
  • Provide monthly reports outlining progress, new leads, and industry insights.
  • Collaborate with teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Design, to ensure seamless transition from lead generation to client engagement. 
  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant sales or business development experience in the trade show or events industry.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills with a track record of success.
  • Ability to travel frequently and attend trade shows as required.
