How You Will Win

You will spearhead the integration of core network services, including L2/L3 switching, BGP and EIGRP routing, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Load Balancing, IPAM, DNS/DHCP, Firewalls, IPSec VPN, and SD-WAN.

● Innovate in the Cloud: Champion the design, implementation, and maintenance of our multi-region, multi-cloud (AWS/GCP) network environment, seamlessly supporting our IaaS VPCs and accelerating our cloud-native (PaaS) capabilities.

● Fortify Network Security: Lead and participate in high-impact network security initiatives, including driving critical manufacturing segmentation deployments to secure our global footprint.

● Master Operational Excellence:

○ Serve as the ultimate escalation point, providing expert trouble resolution for critical, high-priority core network issues. Ensure after hours support coverage to sustain network service levels which include complex technical changes to support projects and or operations deployments (24/7)

○ Proactively identify essential network maintenance tasks and build the structured processes needed to implement them flawlessly.

○ Evaluate, manage, and evolve our core network monitoring and diagnostic tools, ensuring our NOC has the deep visibility and mature workflows required to proactively support our global network.

Minimum requirements

● Bachelors degree

● 10+years experience as a Network/Cloud/Infrastructure Architect

Preferred skills and experiences

● Bachelor’s Degree

● AWS Certified (Solutions Architect or Advanced Networking)

● Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer Certification

● Cisco CCNP

● ITIL v3 Foundation Certification

● Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies is a plus

● Knowledge of manufacturing segmentation architectures with deployment experience

● Knowledge of system monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds

● Leadership and interpersonal skills

● Analytical skills, experience solving practical issues, and engaging teams of multiple process partners to consensus

● Experience managing third-party vendors both for operations support and project delivery, such as network refresh (life-cycle management) programs

● Experience in a Global and International work environment

● Experience designing and implementing connectivity and troubleshooting within AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms. This includes an understanding of the cloud provider platforms, and their native networking services/tools

● Experience with Cisco equipment and operating systems, including configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and support of routers and switches

● Experience conducting short- and long-term planning to meet network requirements

● LAN and WAN protocols and topologies (EIGRP, BGP, MPLS)

● Experience with switching technologies (VLANs, Spanning-Tree, VSS)

● Experience in security technologies including Palo Alto firewalls, VPN and Remote Access

Additional Skills & Qualifications

-AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Advanced Networking, Google Cloud Network Engineer, or Cisco CCNP/CCNA certifications.

-SD-WAN architecture and deployment experience.

-Manufacturing network segmentation experience.

-Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds.

-ITIL Foundation certification or strong IT service management/process experience.

-Experience managing third-party vendors and managed service providers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Benton Harbor, MI.

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $100.00/hr.
