At Skillern Firm, Divorce & Child Custody Lawyers, we are a client-centered family law practice that fiercely advocates for our clients during some of the most emotionally challenging times of their lives. Our team is collaborative, supportive, and dedicated to making a meaningful impact—and we’re looking for a skilled Paralegal who shares that passion.

We are seeking a Family Law Paralegal with at least 2 years of paralegal experience in any legal field. You’ll play a key role in supporting our attorneys and clients through high-paced, sensitive, and complex family law matters. This is not just a job—it’s a chance to do work that matters.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Draft pleadings, motions, orders, notices, discovery responses
  • Manage and organize case files and deadlines
  • Maintain frequent and empathetic communication with clients
  • Prepare court forms and filings in accordance with local rules
  • Support attorneys and daily case management
  • Prepare exhibits for hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and other third parties
  • Keep case calendars and manage attorney schedules
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all case activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience (family law preferred, but not required)
