Job description

The Brand Partnerships Manager at The FADER acts as a point person in the development of relationships directly with our clients as well as their media agencies, with the ultimate goal of driving revenue and bringing in new business.


You are a motivated and proactive individual with a strong background selling integrated marketing programs. You live and breathe music, the lifestyle around it, and are energized by the prospect of creating successful outcomes for our brand partners.


Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Strengthen existing account relationships while prospecting and developing new accounts
  • Monitor relevant market trends, client needs, expectations and opportunities, and continuously develop insights to uncover strategic opportunities
  • Understanding of how our content and media platforms work together to provide value to brand partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams throughout the entire sales process
  • Prepare weekly sales report


Requirements/Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, media or a related field
  • Candidates without a bachelor's degree but with similar experience are also encouraged to apply
  • Minimum of 3 years media sales experience meeting and exceeding quotas
  • Existing client and agency relationships, specifically in entertainment and related categories
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and in person presenting
  • Independent, dynamic relationship builder and deadline driven
  • Keen interest in emerging music, style and culture
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Excel
