The Marketing Service Leader (MSL) is the strategic interface between the Strategic Business Group's (SBG) customer marketing team, Marketing Shared Services (MSS) team (creative, digital, paid media, marketing operations, etc.), and third-party resources to ensure marketing requests are translated into clear, prioritized and executable work aligned to Honeywell's shared services model and global design models. The role partners closely with SBG customer marketing to define campaign strategy, scope required support and drive operational and campaign excellence for seamless execution. The MSL provides strategic counsel, prioritization guidance and execution oversight, while ensuring MSS teams have well-defined briefs, clear timelines and aligned expectations. 

The MSL is a strategic connector who makes sure SBG's marketing ambition is matched with executable plans, the right services and disciplined delivery. The MSL supports strategic initiatives and projects for their assigned SBG Customer Marketing team and business.

The role will report the Honeywell CMO and matrix to the SBG CMO. You'll work out of our Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Houston, TX, or Rosemont, IL location on a Hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

Strategic Liaison & Business Partnership

  • Act as primary point of contact between SBG customer marketing and MSS, aligning business priorities with capabilities and capacity
  • Provide strategic marketing counsel to SBG teams on campaign structure, channel mix, execution approach and prioritization of projects
  • Ensure marketing initiatives align with Honeywell campaign and program frameworks
  • Identify opportunities for synergies and optimization across SBGs 
  • Partner with SBG to identify marketing needs and objectives and translate strategy into clear campaign briefs and scoped requests 
  • Guide prioritization decisions in alignment with MSS capacity and SLAs 
  • Engage third-party agency resources based on MSS capacity and required skills
  • Ensure requests meet MSS intake standards 
  • Own project delivery accountability and work with MSS Project Management team to deliver on-time and on-budget work
  • Manage risks, dependences and trade-offs with proactive communications across teams
  • Support project kickoffs, milestone reviews and ongoing status management in collaboration with MSS Project Management team
  • Enforce consistent use of the Honeywell marketing GDMs, MSS SLAs and briefing processes to reduce friction and rework
  • Be an advocate for best practices, standardization and continuous optimization and a change leader for adoption of evolving MSS processes and tools
  • Create feedback loops between SBG and MSS to improve planning, execution efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Deliver on-time and on-scope marketing initiatives aligned to MSS SLAs
  • Keep SBG CM teams satisfied through clear communication, expectations setting and strategic partnership
  • Alignment to SBG CMO and SBG CCO business priorities and strategic initiatives
  • Improve campaign briefings to reduce rework
  • Reduce one-off marketing activities

Planning, Intake and Prioritization

  • Partner with SBG to identify marketing needs and objectives and translate strategy into clear campaign briefs and scoped requests

Governance, Standards and Continuous Improvement

  • Create feedback loops between SBG and MSS to improve planning, execution efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction

The annual base salary range for this position is $169,000-$211,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, customer marketing or marketing operations
  • 6+ years of experience with a strong understanding of marketing principles, campaign execution, and digital marketing channels
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and prioritization skills
  • Experience using Workfront and Microsoft Office tools
