Job description

SUMMARY

To provide support to the manufacturing manager and engineering team; assisting with manufacturing schedules, product, and supply inventories; assisting with shipping documentation and PO’s. Supporting communications with suppliers, and general help with administrative tasks.
JOB DUTIES

  • Works with shop lead to maintain and update the manufacturing calendar; manages and prioritizes schedules.
  • Organizes and moves drawings from document management system into shop folders.  Prints paper prints as needed. 
  • Assists in implementing manufacturing procedures, policies, and documentation.
  • Supports continuous improvement of manufacturing controls and materials planning functions.
  • Tracks and updates product and supply inventories
  • Assists with issuing PO’s and receiving. 
  • Assists with managing daily Syteline transactions
  • Complies with and ensures department compliance with Company health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Other jobs, tasks and duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS

  • Comfortable working in shop/manufacturing environment as well as a professional office
  • High school diploma or equivalent/Associate degree or higher preferred
  • Working experience in Purchasing / Inventory / Manufacturing environment preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.  Infor/Syteline/Factor track experience preferred. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Google Docs and Sheets as well as Microsoft word, publisher and excel.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good team skills – a high level of enthusiasm and motivation, and the ability to take input from others.
  • Able to manage self to achieve set targets.
