FLSA Status: Salary, Exempt

Salary: $50,000-$65,000/year

Reports to: Sr. Supply Chain Manager

Location: Dothan, AL (M-F)

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor employees, including reinforcement of signage guidelines.
  • Supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency.
  • Able to drive first article and prototype processes alongside Sales and Procurement.
  • Key strategic regional partnerships to solidify future and current capacity needs.
  • Work with other departments to close operational gaps.
  • Track safety, quality, capacity, cost, and business growth, in a fashion that easily trackable and reportable.
  • Appropriate supply chain vendor management strategies to maximize customer satisfaction in the most efficient manner.
  • Actively participate in scheduled project meetings; Proactively communicating all concerns that impact the projects and offering viable solutions to customer issues.
  • Monitor manufacturing workflow and corrects inventory levels.
  • Assist the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manages and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
  • Collaborate inter-departmentally to ensure clear communication is achieved when setting up new clients.
  • Manage changes in project scope utilizing problem-solving techniques to identify potential issues and devise contingency plans as required.
  • Review freight forwards and transportation companies to set best route and rate (reviews and approves all freight terms and agreements).
  • Up to 30% travel โ€“ as needed.


Production Manager Requirements:

  • MFG operational experience either scheduling or part of โ€œbig pictureโ€ thinking, not step in the process
  • Logistical/freight background in some degree
  • Strong multi-tasking capabilities
  • Ability to individually prioritize tasks
  • Familiar with WHS floor environments
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and able to multitask
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced role, interest in logistics/supply chain is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in a signage manufacturing and/or sourcing role, with an interest in logistics/supply chain is preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with working out of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office, email, and internet
