A Day in the Life
The Logistics Coordinator must be a critical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment this role will support NRI Operation Department team through ownership of scheduled pick-ups, deliveries of shipment while collaborating with internal teams and providing excellent customer service to internals.
What does success look like in this role?
The ideal candidate has effective communication and interaction across all levels of the organization including clients. Must be able to multitask, shift priorities as needed, and work independently but also embrace collaboration and working within a dynamic, positive, and energetic team.

The following schedule is available for this role:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm


Starting Pay Range:
$21.00 - $25.50/hr

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • Proficient technical capabilities, inclusive of tier one WMS experience (Aspire).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications
  • Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining managing logistics doc
  • The Logistic Coordinator will be required to assist with occasional over time
  • Demonstrate customer service focus and client communication skills
  • Excellent organization skill with the ability to prioritize task and meet deadlines

The Must Haves:

  • Must have 1 + months of experience as a Logistics Coordinator
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, Teams, and One Drive
  • Must be comfortable with learning TMS carrier systems, programs, portals and WMS
  • Must be in good standing in your current position (i.e., good attendance, performance, no PIPs within the last 3 months)
  • Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.


Things You Will be Doing

  • Compliance
    • Works with Vendor Compliance processes, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance on all shipments are followed.
    • Understanding of Vendor Routing Guide
  • Operation Shipping
    • Ensures all outbound shipments are processed and routed according to Client and Customer needs and within compliance and Service Level Agreement (SLA).
    • Schedules and monitors pickup. Reschedule missed pick-ups
    • Must have 3rd party portal knowledge.
    • SPS portal and SSCC label knowledge
    • Coordinates shipment cancellations and changes
    • Create Shipping Label/Bill of Landing (UPS, FedEx, USPS and other Common Carrier).
    • Route all Collect / 3rd party orders adhering to Retailer Routing compliance guidelines.
    • Follow up daily with carrier appointments.
    • Maintain Recap reports/manifests to ensure accuracy when carrier pick-ups occur
    • Investigation and follow up on all freight scenarios that involve lost or damaged product via a carrier and respond promptly.
    • Provides carrier information and updates to all internal & external contacts
    • Organizes and files all BOL's according to vendor and ship date.
    • Ensures all manual shipment confirmations are sent to clients daily.
    • Documents and resolves issues between carriers and vendors
    • Quote shipping rates on a regular basis to ensure best economical shipping method.
    • Consolidate and summarize shipment requirement of Customers' requests.
    • Ensures dangerous goods are shipped according to DG standards.
    • Ensures Custom Retailer carton labels are generated/applied w/compliance placement.
    • tracking and tracing shipments internationally and domestically when necessary.
    • Performs other duties as requested.
    • Provide POD when requested to clients
    • Shared labor between facilities when necessary.
