The Global Operations team will oversee and lead the implementation of manufacturing, distribution logistics, sourcing, and supply chain activities. We will build, create, and enhance end-to-end operation strategies, processes, analytics, technology, and continuous improvement efforts.As the **Director of Global Logistics**, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire logistics operation on a global scale. This role ensures that the movement, distribution, and storage of products and materials are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with international regulations. This position will lead a team of logistics professionals, develop strategic plans, and implement best practices to optimize supply chain performance and enhance customer satisfaction.This position reports to the **Chief Supply Chain Officer** and is based out of Carlsbad, Irvine, Rantoul, IL or Stockton, CA.**As the Director of Global Logistics, you will have an opportunity to:*** Develop and implement global logistics strategies aligned with corporate objectives.* Lead, mentor, and manage the global logistics team to ensure high performance and professional growth.* Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, and production to ensure seamless operations.* Oversee the end-to-end global logistics process, including transportation, and 3rd party warehousing & distribution, consolidation centers, and transloading.* Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards.* Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.* Negotiate with global and regional logistics suppliers to deliver cost and service requirements.* Manage Revelyst contracts for Parcel, Ocean, LTL Full truck load, etc.* Establish and maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.* Evaluate and select logistics partners based on performance, reliability, and strategic fit.* Develop and manage the logistics budget, ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation.* Conduct financial analysis to assess logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.* Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, costs, and trends to senior management.* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency, accuracy, and speed.* Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices in logistics management.* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the logistics team.**You have:*** Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
