Logistics & Asset Manager Location: Herndon, VA (Hybrid) Clearance: None Travel: 50% CONUS About the Opportunity Stillwater Human Capital is seeking an experienced Logistics & Asset Manager to support a federal customer by overseeing the end-to-end logistics, inventory management, and lifecycle management of recruiting event assets supporting a nationwide recruiting program. This position is responsible for ensuring recruiting materials, event kits, booth equipment, promotional items, signage, and branded assets are available, serviceable, and delivered to event locations on time and within budget. The Logistics & Asset Manager leads inventory accountability, shipping and receiving operations, warehousing, vendor coordination, replenishment planning, and asset tracking while maintaining visibility into all assets throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate is an organized logistics professional with experience managing inventory, coordinating nationwide shipments, optimizing supply chain operations, and implementing efficient asset management processes in a fast-paced operational environment. --- Key Responsibilities Logistics & Supply Chain Management • Manage the end-to-end logistics process supporting recruiting and outreach events nationwide. • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for event materials, displays, booth equipment, and promotional assets. • Identify cost-effective shipping methods while ensuring reliable, on-time delivery. • Track shipments and proactively resolve shipping delays, damaged materials, or delivery issues. • Coordinate return shipping and inventory recovery following event completion. • Develop logistics plans supporting multiple concurrent events. • Maintain contingency plans for shipment delays, schedule changes, and emergency logistics requirements. • Coordinate movement of displays, equipment, and event kits between storage facilities and event locations. • Maintain chain-of-custody documentation when required. --- Asset & Inventory Management • Maintain a centralized inventory management system for recruiting materials, event equipment, promotional items, and reusable assets. • Track inventory levels and asset locations using inventory management tools and QR code tracking systems. • Maintain accountability for all event assets through check-in/check-out procedures. • Monitor asset condition and coordinate repair or replacement of damaged equipment. • Establish replenishment triggers and reorder points for consumable inventory. • Track the lifecycle of promotional items, displays, and durable event equipment. • Coordinate event kit configuration management to ensure standardized deployment. • Maintain storage locations and warehouse inventory organization. • Conduct routine inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability. --- Vendor & Operations Coordination • Coordinate with shipping vendors, storage providers, production partners, and internal stakeholders. • Manage production and replenishment of branded recruiting materials and promotional items. • Ensure all booth materials, signage, literature, and promotional items comply with established branding standards. • Maintain version control of recruiting collateral and event materials. • Support event planning teams by ensuring logistics requirements are completed on schedule. • Coordinate closely with Event Planning, Regional Event Coordinators, and Program Management to support operational readiness. --- Reporting & Documentation • Develop and maintain the Asset Management Plan. • Produce monthly Master Asset Inventory Reports. • Prepare Shipping Status Reports, Logistics Plans, Inventory Control Reports, and Asset Tracking Reports. • Document asset loss, damage, and inventory discrepancies while identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. • Conduct annual asset assessments and lifecycle reviews. • Analyze logistics performance and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve operational effectiveness. --- Required Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline; Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 The above salary range represents a general guideline. Stillwater considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
