Job description

  • Lead, coordinate, and oversee logistics and supply chain projects from initiation to completion
  • Manage contractors, costs and budgets, permits, route optimization, transportation tool returns, project-site deliveries, and vessel operations
  • Manage end-to-end processes and logistics supplier contracts for assigned projects
  • Complete customs documentation with carriers, brokers, and forwarders
  • Lead meetings, prepare reports, and provide updates to senior management
  • Ensure safety procedures during port operations, vessel discharge, storage, and trucking loading
  • Ensure route surveys and route improvements meet contractual milestones and delivery schedules
  • Plan, execute, and monitor logistics projects aligned with company goals and client requirements
  • Manage supply chain risks and develop contingency plans
  • Collaborate with transportation suppliers, procurement, and internal stakeholders
  • Track KPIs and performance metrics using logistics and project management tools
  • Communicate shipment and delivery status and proactively resolve logistical issues
  • Analyze cost drivers, processes, and specifications to identify cost and performance improvements
  • Create commercial invoices and packing lists

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (3–5 years) required
  • 3+ years’ experience in transportation planning/project cargo required
  • Ability to read and understand scopes of work and MSA contracts
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with cost models and/or cost analysis
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Strong process and data analysis focus
  • Understanding of international and domestic transportation documentation requirements
  • Knowledge of rigging and lifting tooling is a plus
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice
  • Excellent oral, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working in a constantly changing environment
