We nurture a culture that values safety, excellence, and high performance, and we believe in providing opportunities for our team members to continually raise the bar.Are you ready to drive the renewable future with Goldwind?## Job Description## **Summary:**Reporting directly to the Director of PMO, the Manager, Logistics Strategy and Planning is responsible for the strategy, planning and management of the logistics operations for Goldwind USA.## **Responsibilities/Duties:*** Manage logistics processes and develop logistics programs for Goldwind USA.* Support cross-functional activities involving Applications Engineering, Sales, Project Management, and Operations.* Identify and implement strategies to improve transportation efficiency and overall logistics performance.* Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing strategies, equipment utilization, and shipment frequency.* Identify ports of entry, transportation routes, and delivery strategies for turbine components across multiple countries and regions, with a focus on Canada.* Build and maintain relationships with logistics partners, consultants, freight forwarders, and carriers.* Develop and maintain a qualified vendor pool to support project execution.* Negotiate contracts for logistics, transportation, and related services.* Manage end-to-end supplier relationships, including supplier qualification and sourcing, onboarding and training, ongoing performance analysis and management, and Contract administration.* Develop and implement vendor selection policies and performance targets related to quality, cost, and delivery.* Recommend, implement, and manage logistics software and operational systems.* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, optimize workflows, and reduce operational costs.* Identify process gaps and execute optimization strategies.* Promote and enforce safety culture across the range of Goldwind’s employees, contractors, and subcontractors to maintain highest quality, health, safety, and environmental performance.* Follow Goldwind’s (or applicable) QHSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.* Understand and implement QHSE management systems as it relates to their role.* Promote and contribute to continuous improvement of Goldwind Americas ISO’s program.* Additional duties as assigned or as business needs emerge.## **Required Education/Experience:*** Bachelor’s degree is required.
