Position Purpose
The Loan Administration and Servicing Manager is responsible for delivering high level and quality
customer service. They are expected to interact closely with Loan Officers, their Administrative Assistants,
Credit and other Departments to support the ongoing servicing of all loans, and maintenance of related
records in accordance with the Bank's policies and legal requirements. This includes management of all
incoming service requests within SLA guidelines.
Position Responsibilities
  • Oversees processes and staff responsible for loan support functions, including:
    • Management of all incoming service request cases and assignments, with timely completion,
      accuracy, escalation, recordkeeping, and adherence to SLA requirements and servicing
      guidelines.
    • The processes related to loan payments, advances and other monetary transactions
    • Review of loan documentation and systems to prepare payoff requests, loan maintenance
      and research.
    • Ensuring that supporting loan documentation is uploaded to the Bank's imaging system on a
      timely basis.
    • Oversees process and staff responsible for updating core and ancillary systems to accurately
      reflect loan documentation and to set up taxes and insurance tracking.
  • Oversees process and staff responsible for receiving and processing loan advances:
    • Review requests for all required documentation.
    • For Construction Loan Draws, proper requirements are met prior to each draw.
    • For Asset Based Loan Draws, proper requirements are met prior to each draw.
    • Prepares the transaction for input into the loan accounting system.
    • Ensures supporting documentation is uploaded to the Bank's imaging system.
  • Oversees process for loan payoff requests:
    • Review request and prepare payoff statements in accordance with guidelines.
    • Receives and processes the payoff in the loan accounting system.
    • Prepares lien releases and sends to appropriate party for processing.
    • Ensures payoff and release documentation is uploaded to the imaging system.
    • Ensures the collateral records in the loan accounting system are properly updated to reflect
      any released or changed collateral.
  • Manage loan maintenance requests and case assignments, working with team on evaluation and
    escalation as needed, adhering to SLA requirements and servicing guidelines, including:
    • Loan research
    • Statement requests
    • Borrower base updates
    • Participation payments
    • Payment schedule adjustments
  • Other Duties as Assigned, such as:
    • Assists with special projects.
    • Participates in any department activities to promote efficiency and quality
    • Cross training staff to ensure team is well versed in all aspects of duties within the
      department.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or 4 years bank experience
  • 2 years previous experience in commercial loan processing/servicing environment
  • Knowledge of lending and banking policies, procedures, and regulations

Technical Knowledge and Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong experience with loan core account systems and transaction processing
  • Experience in the Loan Servicing environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of lending and operational compliance regulations.
  • Preferred experience with FiServ Premier & Navigator systems

Compensation
  • Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 annually. Final determination of where you are at in the salary range is based on numerous factors such as geographical location, relevant experience, skill set, education, and ability to meet qualifications within the job description.
  • Additional Compensation: This role will include a yearly annual target bonus based on individual performance.

Working Arrangements
  • This is a hybrid role expected to work in office on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. You will be able to work remotely on Wednesday. This person will ideally sit out of our Rockville, MD headquarters location.
