Private Chef Position - Ambler, PA

Elite Private Chefs is seeking a skilled and adaptable Private Chef to support a dynamic UHNW family based in Ambler, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time role serving a household of five with a strong appreciation for high-quality, thoughtfully prepared meals.

The ideal candidate will bring a balance of refined technique and approachable, homestyle cooking, with the ability to execute "Michelin-quality" cuisine in a relaxed, family-oriented setting. The chef will be responsible for daily lunch and dinner service, with an emphasis on consistency, organization, and flexibility to meet the family's evolving schedule.

This role requires a chef who is comfortable working independently while coordinating with household staff, maintaining a well-stocked kitchen, and preparing meals that align with dietary preferences, including vegetarian accommodations.

Location: Ambler, Pennsylvania (approximately 35 minutes from Philadelphia) | Travel required
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday | 11:00 AM-8:00 PM (flexibility required, occasional weekends and holidays)
Compensation: $125,000+ annually + bonus + benefits (health, 401k)
Household: 5 (2 adults, 3 children)
Start Date: ASAP (Test cook required)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare daily lunch and dinner for the household
Pack lunch to-go for the principal, ready by 1:00 PM (delivered to the office by staff)
Execute dinner service between 5:00-7:00 PM, accommodating varying schedules for children and principals
Create diverse, high-quality meals across cuisines including Mexican, Mediterranean, American, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese
Balance elevated, Michelin-quality cooking with approachable, homestyle meals
Accommodate dietary preferences, including vegetarian meals for the principal
Maintain a well-organized kitchen and manage pantry inventory, grocery sourcing, and food purchasing
Prepare light weekend provisions, including a stocked fridge and meal prep, with occasional support for the principal who enjoys cooking

Additional Notes:

Travel required, primarily to Avalon Beach, New Jersey (approximately 2 hours from Ambler), with staff housing provided; frequent summer stays including every other weekend
Additional travel includes the Bahamas (approximately 5 times per year) and occasional trips to Blackberry Mountain, Tennessee
Flexibility is required for occasional weekend shifts and holiday coverage
Family is highly food-focused and values creativity, consistency, and quality
