Job description

Job Description Thinkfind is looking for a skilled Network Administrator/Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and supporting an extensive network infrastructure, collaborating closely with the Lead Network Engineer, for one of our exciting clients. Responsibilities include managing support tickets (around five daily), troubleshooting network issues, implementing security measures, and overseeing access controls. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software such as servers, routers, and switches.

Additional duties include documenting changes, configurations, and activities while supporting a distributed environment across 500+ sites. You will also monitor network activity, apply firewall patches and updates, and assist with helpdesk escalations to ensure system stability and security. Ideally, you will have 3-5+ years of experience in a Network Administrator role, with strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols and distributed systems.

Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Cisco, and Palo Alto Networks is essential, along with hands-on experience managing support tickets and troubleshooting in a dynamic environment. Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills are required, as is the ability to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively. Experience with ServiceNow (or similar systems), a proactive attitude, and attention to detail will ensure success in this position.
