Established local IT Support Group of 42 years is seeking full-time skilled I.T. team members to support our client base. This is an in-office position and is not a remote or work-from-home role. Candidates must be available to work on-site during normal business hours. Team members provide network, server, virtualization, workstation, hardware, software, and help desk support for small to medium-sized business clients.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, professional, highly organized, and able to work with a strong sense of urgency. Excellent communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and follow-up skills are essential. This position requires the ability to manage support tickets from start to finish, communicate clearly with end users, document work performed, and ensure issues are fully resolved.
Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure, LANs, WANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, switches, and wireless networksย 
  • Proficiency with Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025 and Microsoft 365 / Office 365ย 
  • Experience supporting servers, workstations, printers, mobile devices, and associated business systemsย 
  • Working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, and/or similar platformsย 
  • Basic to intermediate Linux knowledge preferredย 
  • Experience with ConnectWise tools, including ConnectWise Manage, Automate, and Control, preferredย 
  • Excellent help desk support skills, including ticket management, client communication, follow-up, and issue ownershipย 
  • Ability to follow trouble tickets from initial report through final resolutionย 
  • Strong documentation skills, including documenting problems, resolutions, procedures, and client environmentsย 
  • Ability to perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations, networks, and associated systemsย 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervisionย 
  • Ability to participate in team-based projects and remain flexible as project priorities changeย 
  • Self-motivated, organized, dependable, and professionalย 
  • Ability to handle periods of high workload while maintaining accuracy and professionalismย 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsย 
  • Strong project management abilities, including planning, coordination, follow-through, and task completionย 
Qualifications:

  • 3โ€“5 years maintaining PC hardware, software, servers, and network systems preferredย 
  • Education may be used in place of experienceย 
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Networking, or related field preferredย 
  • Associateโ€™s degree in a related field may be consideredย 
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, VMware, Linux, Cisco CCENT, Cisco CCNA, and related certifications desiredย 
  • Valid driverโ€™s license, clean driving record, and proof of insuranceย 
  • Reliable transportationย 
  • Background check and drug screen requiredย 
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position.
