The Area Manager is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing multiple centers, supporting Center Directors, ensuring compliance with licensing and franchise standards, and driving enrollment, profitability, and operational excellence across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- ย Lead, coach, and develop Center Directors across multiple locations.ย
- ย Ensure compliance with all state licensing, health, safety, and franchise requirements.ย
- ย Monitor enrollment, staffing, scheduling, labor utilization, and center performance.ย
- ย Analyze key business metrics and implement action plans to improve enrollment, retention, profitability, and family satisfaction.ย
- ย Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives.ย
- ย Conduct regular center visits, classroom observations, audits, and leadership meetings.ย
- ย Partner with center leadership to execute enrollment and marketing strategies.ย
- ย Address escalated family concerns and support exceptional customer service.ย
- ย Oversee administrative functions including tuition collection, payroll review, reporting, and budget management.ย
- ย Provide operational support and leadership coverage when necessary.ย
Qualifications
- ย 2+ years of leadership experience in childcare, education, or multi-unit operations.ย
- ย Multi-site management experience preferred.ย
- ย Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Business, or a related field preferred.ย
- ย Strong knowledge of state licensing regulations and early childhood education best practices.ย
- ย Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.ย
- ย Ability to travel regularly between assigned centers.ย
