Job Summary
Seeking a Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer with strong weld tooling design, manufacturing process knowledge, and hands-on CAD expertise. The ideal candidate will support manufacturing engineering, tooling design, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives in a highly collaborative, fast-paced production environment.
This is a 100% onsite role based in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Mandatory Skills (Must Have)
Weld Tooling Design and Validation
Experience with weld tooling/templates, fixtures, and components
3D CAD expertise: SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo
Strong manufacturing process knowledge
Hands-on experience with ECN process and routing
ERP systems experience (preferably ENOVIA)
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and validate weld tooling, templates, fixtures, and special-purpose tools
Develop and optimize manufacturing process flows with focus on cost reduction and efficiency
Perform assembly process planning
Design material handling equipment, carts, racks, and special-purpose devices
Validate racks and carts based on load capacity and safety requirements
Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), CN, and DOU documentation
Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Design and support quality checking gauges
Support material flow optimization and standardization
Conduct daily project follow-ups and interact with internal customers
Coordinate with vendors for tooling, materials, and project needs
Collaborate with onsite managers and offshore teams for status reviews and execution
Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and customer requirements
Tools & Technologies
CAD Tools: SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo
ERP / PLM Systems: ENOVIA (preferred)
Manufacturing engineering tools and documentation systems
