Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead DevSecOps Engineer to drive the implementation of secure DevOps practices across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure, containerization, security integration, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The candidate will lead DevSecOps initiatives, collaborate with development and security teams, and establish best practices for secure software delivery.
Required Skills
13+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in DevOps and DevSecOps.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform), preferably AWS.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration.
Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, Container Security).
Hands-on experience with security tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Veracode, Snyk, Prisma Cloud, Aqua Security, or similar.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
Knowledge of IAM, OAuth, SSO, Secrets Management, and Vault.
Strong understanding of Linux administration, networking, and cloud security best practices.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Banking or Financial Services experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise DevSecOps pipelines.
Integrate security controls throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Automate application deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve deployment reliability and security.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation strategies.
Conduct security reviews, vulnerability remediation, and compliance assessments.
Manage container security and Kubernetes platform security.
Improve application monitoring, logging, and incident response capabilities.
Define DevSecOps standards, governance, and best practices across engineering teams.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership for DevSecOps initiatives.
Support release management, production deployments, and operational excellence.
Experience working in highly regulated environments such as Banking or Financial Services.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform certifications.
Kubernetes (CKA/CKS) certification.
Terraform, Jenkins, or DevSecOps-related certifications.
