Job description

Description:

Lead the Way to Intelligent Banking with Us!

You might not think about what happens behind the scenes when you check your bank balance or deposit a check from your phone, but we do. Every day.

Kinective empowers banks and credit unions to move beyond keeping up with technology to shaping the future of banking. Our platform seamlessly connects the right tools, delivers real-time data, and drives smarter operations for more than 4,000 financial institutions nationwide. We are a fast-growing team built on individual ownership, company-wide collaboration, and setting industry-leading standards. Here, new ideas are encouraged, candid feedback is welcomed, and your growth truly matters as much as the company’s. At Kinective, we are leading the way to intelligent banking together and enjoying the journey along the way.

Why This Role Matters

Every role at Kinective exists to move the needle for our clients, partners, and the financial institutions we serve. As our Account Manager – LATAM, you will own Kinective’s most important commercial relationships across the region — serving as the trusted advisor, renewal owner, and growth engine for a portfolio of enterprise financial institutions and payment networks.

You will take ownership of the full post-sale commercial lifecycle: protecting revenue, deepening product adoption, and identifying expansion opportunities within your book of business. You will also serve as the critical bridge between regional clients and Kinective’s US-based teams — bringing cultural fluency, market knowledge, and commercial instincts to every interaction. This role operates with significant autonomy and has a direct impact on retention and revenue growth across one of Kinective’s most strategic markets.

Requirements:

What You’ll Own

Portfolio Retention & Revenue Growth

  • Own and protect a portfolio of enterprise accounts across LATAM, ensuring high satisfaction, on-time renewals, and successful upsell and cross-sell execution
  • Lead end-to-end expansion cycles — discovery, proposal, commercial negotiation, and close — identifying and developing new revenue opportunities as clients’ needs evolve and product adoption deepens
  • Conduct regular business reviews with VP- and C-level stakeholders to demonstrate product value, reinforce the partnership, and create a clear path to renewal and growth

Client Success & Risk Management

  • Monitor account health across the portfolio, proactively identifying churn risk and leading escalation resolution before issues threaten the relationship
  • Partner closely with Customer Success and Support to ensure clients achieve measurable outcomes — and that Kinective’s delivery matches the commercial commitments made at the point of sale
  • Act as the primary commercial advocate for LATAM clients internally, translating regional context, market dynamics, and client feedback into actionable input for US-based product, GTM, and leadership teams

Pipeline Discipline & Market Intelligence

  • Maintain accurate expansion pipeline, renewal timelines, and account data in the CRM, ensuring clean forecasting and clear visibility for leadership
  • Gather and synthesize market intelligence and client feedback from across the portfolio to inform product development, pricing strategy, and regional GTM decisions

How We’ll Measure Success

Success here isn’t about checking boxes — it’s about propelling Kinective’s mission to lead the way to intelligent banking. You must bring excellence to your craft, balance resourcefulness with respect, share and celebrate unique expertise and diverse perspectives, and continuously raise the bar as we innovate and grow. Specifically, you will know you’re winning when you are:

  • Delivering strong net revenue retention across your LATAM portfolio — with renewals secured on time and expansion opportunities converted consistently
  • Owning client relationships at the executive level, with accounts that view Kinective as a long-term strategic partner, not just a vendor
  • Working effectively as the bridge between regional clients and Kinective’s US teams — surfacing the right context at the right time to protect relationships and inform decisions
  • Improving forecast accuracy and CRM hygiene so leadership has reliable visibility into pipeline health and renewal timing across the region

Necessary Qualifications & Competencies

  • 5+ years of enterprise account management or client success experience, ideally in fintech, banking technology, or ATM/payment infrastructure
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder accounts at the VP and C-suite level, with direct ownership of renewals and expansion revenue
  • Strong working knowledge of the LATAM banking ecosystem; familiarity with markets such as Mexico, Colombia, or Ecuador strongly preferred
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English — written and verbal — is required
  • Comfortable operating independently in a remote, distributed team environment with a high degree of self-direction
  • Willingness to travel across the region to support client relationships as needed
  • Background in ATM operations, cash management, or self-service banking is a plus
  • Experience managing SaaS or managed services accounts within financial institutions is a plus
  • An existing professional network within banks, payment processors, or CIT companies in LATAM is a plus

Pay, Benefits & Total Rewards

$730,000 – $748,000 MXN + up to $25,000 in commissions opportunity

The salary range listed reflects the minimum and maximum for this role. Individual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, job-related skills, location, and internal equity, and most offers are not made at the top of the range.

Base pay is one part of Kinective’s Total Rewards package. Depending on the role, employees may also be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or equity. All employees have access to a competitive benefits package designed to support health, well-being, and financial security, including:

  • Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision, prescriptions, life & disability)
  • Flexible PTO, 11 company holidays, and generous parental and caregiver leave
  • An immediately vested 401(k) with company contributions
  • Wellness resources and professional development opportunities
