Job Title: Cath Lab Supervisor
Location: Bartlett, Tennessee
Work Model: Onsite (Hospital)
Type: Full-Time
Cath Lab Supervisor responsible for providing leadership and direction across cardiovascular service lines. This role manages both administrative and clinical functions across the Cath Lab and related areas, ensuring quality patient care delivery, compliance, operational efficiency, and staff performance.
The ideal candidate has hands-on Cath Lab experience as a Cath Lab RN or Cath Lab Tech, with prior leadership/supervisory capability and the ability to support clinical duties in the Cath Lab as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and supervision to cardiovascular service lines and Cath Lab operations.
• Manage administrative and clinical functions across:
o Cath Lab
o Stress Lab
o ECHO areas
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and schedule coverage for safe patient care operations.
• Manage budgets for labor and operations; monitor productivity and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and standards of practice.
• Oversee delivery of quality patient care and patient safety initiatives within cardiovascular departments.
• Support hiring, disciplinary actions, and staff performance management (hire/fire/discipline authority).
• May provide clinical care in the Cath Lab as needed to support patient volumes and operational demands.
• Perform related duties as required.
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
• Cath Lab RN experience OR Cath Lab Tech experience (required)
2+ years Cath Lab experience (required)
• Must be currently licensed/certified/registered to practice profession as required by:
o state law
o regulation in state of practice
o facility policy
BLS certification (required)
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate staff workflow, clinical operations, and patient care delivery
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-To-Haves)
BSN preferred OR equivalent experience
• Prior experience supervising cardiovascular service line teams (Cath Lab/Stress/ECHO)
• Strong operational skills including staffing, budgeting, and compliance management
