This role is responsible for leading a high-performing sales team focused on driving revenue, margin growth, and market expansion across industrial fluid conveyance products, including hose, fittings, assemblies, and related components. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on customer engagement to strengthen key accounts, develop sales talent, and ensure alignment between sales execution, customer expectations, and operational performance.

You will play a critical role in expanding market share, strengthening distributor and end‑user relationships, and ensuring disciplined execution across sales processes and profitability targets.

Sales Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to consistently achieve or exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives and evolving customer and market needs
  • Establish clear performance expectations and conduct regular coaching, feedback, and quarterly development reviews
  • Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and servant leadership aligned with company values
  • Partner closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate inventory planning and strong customer service levels
  • Participate in daily leadership accountability meetings focused on customer on‑time delivery and service performance
Customer Relationship Management
  • Own and manage assigned key and strategic accounts
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with distributors, contractors, OEMs, and industrial end users
  • Serve as escalation point for key customer issues, ensuring timely resolution and strong customer satisfaction
  • Support complex sales opportunities through joint customer visits, presentations, and closing support
  • Ensure pricing, quoting, and contract approvals align with profitability expectations and risk guidelines
  • Maintain deep understanding of top accounts to ensure continuity of service and coverage
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer training opportunities
Sales Performance & Reporting
  • Monitor individual and team performance against KPIs, revenue targets, and pipeline health
  • Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to leadership
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of pricing, forecasting, proposals, and contract execution
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans to drive results
Market & Business Development
  • Stay current on industry trends within fluid conveyance, industrial distribution, and competing supply channels
  • Monitor competitor activity and market pricing dynamics to inform strategy
  • Partner with marketing and leadership to align campaigns and product positioning
  • Provide customer and market insights to support strategic growth initiatives
Team Development & Operational Support
  • Deliver ongoing training on product knowledge, applications, and sales techniques
  • Serve as CRM subject matter expert, ensuring consistent adoption and pipeline discipline
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support individual development plans
  • Manage team expenses within budget expectations
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, sourcing, and internal partners to support execution and customer needs
Required Experience, Education and Skills
  • 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in industrial distribution or fluid conveyance products (hose, fittings, assemblies, or related categories)
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams to achieve revenue and margin targets
  • Strong experience managing key accounts in an industrial or B2B distribution environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies in competitive markets
  • Experience with CRM systems and disciplined pipeline management
  • Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel for customer engagement and field support as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Experience, Education and Skills
  • Background in industrial hose, fluid conveyance distribution, MRO, or related industrial supply channels
  • Experience working with distributor networks and contractor/end‑user mix
  • Familiarity with branch‑based or multi‑location sales organizations
  • Experience collaborating closely with operations, sourcing, and inventory management teams
  • Prior experience in a growth‑oriented or transformation environment
