Job description

Northwest Permanente (NWP) is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to join our dedicated Neonatology team at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.

As the largest multispecialty medical group in Oregon and Southwest Washington, Northwest Permanente includes more than 1,500 physicians and 300 administrative professionals caring for over 615,000 Kaiser Permanente members. Physician-owned and physician-led, our organization offers a collaborative practice environment where compensation is not tied to fee-for-service productivity, allowing physicians to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Position Highlights

Join a collaborative and highly skilled neonatal team in a modern Level III NICU environment with access to advanced technology and comprehensive support services.

Practice Details

  • Collegial team of 4 Neonatologists and 2 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners

  • 20-bed, single-patient room Level III NICU at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center

  • Daily census of approximately 12-19 patients

  • 24/7 Neonatologist coverage with daytime NNP support

  • Care for infants as early as 25 weeks gestation

  • Advanced neonatal services including:

    • Total body cooling

    • EEG and aEEG

    • High-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV)

    • Conventional mechanical ventilation (CMV)

    • Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)

    • Bubble CPAP

  • Telehealth consultation support for Westside Medical Center Level I Nursery

  • Physician-friendly Epic EMR

  • Opportunities for leadership and physician governance participation within the medical group

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation

  • Total Rewards value: $387,100 - $463,800

Compensation is based on experience, training, certifications, market factors, and other qualifications.
