What You'll Be Doing
Inventory Management & Analysis
- Review, process, and reconcile inventory transactions across a large retail network.
- Analyze inventory variances and research discrepancies.
- Calculate and monitor inventory shrink and related adjustments.
- Perform weekly and monthly inventory reconciliations.
- Balance sales, delivery, and return activity to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain the integrity of inventory and accounting databases.
Collaboration & Problem Solving
- Partner with Operations and Distribution teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Investigate root causes and recommend solutions.
- Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Assist with special projects and provide backup support for accounting functions as needed.
Financial Accuracy
- Ensure inventory activity is properly reflected within accounting systems.
- Support accurate reporting and financial controls.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial information.

What We're Looking For:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
- Alternatively, 1–3 years of accounting experience with inventory, reconciliations, or transactional analysis.
Skills & Experience
- Strong Excel skills, including:
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Pivot Tables
- Data analysis and reconciliation
- Understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with colleagues and business partners.
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems is a plus.
