Responsibilities

  • Perform intraoperative and post-anesthesia care for OR patients as RN.

  • Monitor patient vitals, anesthesia recovery, and pain management during recovery.

  • Ensure sterile technique and maintain operatory asepsis throughout procedures.

  • Identify and escalate patient safety risks; implement corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with surgeons and staff to optimize throughput and turnover times.

  • Document perioperative nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.

  • Utilize data and metrics to track performance against targets and improve outcomes.

  • Assist in preoperative assessments and readiness checks for scheduled cases.
