Job description

As the Intake Team Lead, you will be a driving force in our Intake Department. Your leadership will be essential in developing and enhancing the performance of our Intake Specialists, guiding them to exceed departmental goals while fostering a positive and productive work environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape the team's success and contribute to the firm's overall growth.

This is a 100% on site position. We believe this work is done best together!

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and Inspire: Provide dynamic leadership to a team of Intake Specialists, creating a collaborative and motivated environment focused on exceeding goals.
  • Team Development: Coach, mentor, and develop team members to maximize their potential and contribute to their professional growth.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance metrics, provide regular feedback, and create targeted improvement plans to optimize individual and team performance.
  • Client Relations: Ensure the team delivers exceptional client service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve intake processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy, ensuring seamless client onboarding.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Foster open communication within the team and across departments, facilitating a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Disciplinary Action: Implement disciplinary actions as needed in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Data Accuracy: Enforce accurate client data intake processes to ensure compliance and informed decision-making.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other related duties as required to support team and departmental objectives.
What You Need:
  • Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office.
    • Prior management experience is required, 2 years preferred. 
    • Customer service experience of at least 2 years is preferred.
  • Exceptional Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and lead a team to achieve outstanding results.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective strategies.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster strong relationships.
  • Customer Service Expertise: Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service and resolving issues effectively.
  • Organizational Prowess: Superb organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring efficient workflow and accurate data management.
  • Time Management Acumen: Effective time management skills with a track record of meeting monthly quotas and deadlines.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating a fast-paced call center environment and utilizing relevant software and technology.
  • Empathy & Understanding: Demonstrated empathy towards clients and team members, creating a supportive and understanding atmosphere.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
  • Typing Speed: 35+ words per minute.
