Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new business by calling prospects using lead management databases and following sales leads generated from referrals, networking and agency marketing.
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established by agency.
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Provide customers with additional information about new products and services.
  • Create strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and Allstate loyalty.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Michigan Property & Casualty License (Active or willing to obtain prior to starting)
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Must be highly self-motivated.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
  • A Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
  • No insurance or sales experience required but must be willing to learn.
